Chairman of the National Assembly Meets Members of the Assembly to Discuss Recent Developments
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Aden – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]G[/su_dropcap]eneral Ahmed Said Ben Brik, chairman of the southern national assembly, met members of the assembly presidency to discuss recent developments on Saturday December 22nd 2018. The meeting discussed relevant issues concerning the south including Sweden consultations and its outcomes that may affect the current situation.
Ben Brik indicated that it is important no to listen to rumors and stay away from any maneuvers especially with the reform party restless efforts to attack the council and mislead public opinion about their collaboration with Al-Houthi militias against the Arab Coalition. He added that the southern transitional council is on the right path by remaining silent during the last period. He demanded the southern people not to listen to false rumors as such rumors aim to distract the council who is currently a major active power on the ground.
Members of the national assembly presented several questions about the current situation and the role of the council amid these urgent developments inside and outside the south.
