Chairman of the National Assembly Meets Sheikh Saleh Al-Awlaki and Discusses Current Events with him

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Aden – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] General Ahmed Said Ben Brik, Chairman of the National Assembly, met Sheikh Saleh Al-Awlaki, member of the presidency, at the headquarters of the national assembly in Aden. General Ben Brik expressed his happiness of this visit as Sheikh Saleh Al-Awlaki is a prominent politician and defender of the southern cause. The meeting discussed the activities and missions of the national assembly and its active role during the current stage through reports and documents of specialized commissions of the national assembly that work on establishing the southern state according to international laws and conventions.
Sheikh Saleh Al-Awlaki expressed his appreciation of the national assembly’s role and organizational work. He also thanked specialized commissions of the assembly for their role in preparing reports and legislative drafts to be ready before the declaration of the southern state.
Vice chairman of the national assembly, Dr. Anis Lockman attended the meeting that discussed recent developments on the local and international levels. Ben Brik and Al-Awlaki payed a visit to offices of specialized commissions of the national assembly and listened to detailed description of its tasks from employees. They appreciated the massive efforts done in the assembly.
