Citizens of Sheikh Abdullah refuse to establish camp for displaced people in the area

The people of Sheikh Abdullah coastal area in Zinjibar district of Abyan governorate, held an extraordinary meeting to express rejecting decisions sought by the local authority in the district to establish a camp for the displaced from the people of the Yemeni Arab Republic in the area, with the support of some international organizations, and it was identified in the lands belonging to the area, especially in the football stadium.
The people of the area affirmed their total rejection of the measures that the local authority in the district is trying to take, in which it will disturb the social fabric, public tranquility and demographic change of the residents in the area.
The people of Sheikh Abdullah demanded the local authority in the governorate and the Southern Transitional Council in the governorate to issue orders to the local authority in the district to immediately stop the establishment of this camp.
It was agreed by the people of the region to form a community committee consisting of seven members representing the people of the region to consult in all fields.
