Commander of Anti-Terrorism visits headquarters of National Southern Media Authority and gets briefed on progress of security and military media

The Vice Chairman of the National Southern Media Authority, Head of the Radio and Television Sector, Mukhtar Al-Yafei, on Sunday met with Major General Shallal Ali Shaye, Commander-in-Chief of the Anti-Terrorism Units, during his visits to the authority’s headquarters in the capital, Aden.
During the visit, Major General Shallal Shaye got briefed by Mr. Mukhtar Al-Yafei about the work progress in the Media Authority and the obstacles that stand in the way of its work, noting the need for media awareness work to support the security and military agencies in performing their tasks, especially the fight against terrorism, which requires the concerted efforts of all to face it.
During the meeting, Major General Shallal affirmed the support of the Anti-Terrorism Command, and its leadership and all its affiliates, with the National Southern Media Authority, which is keen on arranging the security and military media system in proportion to the important stage the south is going through, praising in this context the role of the Southern Armed Forces Media Center Department and the efforts they are making.
Major General Shallal toured the Authority’s departments, getting acquainted with the capabilities and departments of the Authority, and the tasks it performs, urging continuity and development in what the current circumstances and the general interest of the country require.
