Comment by Governor Ibn Al-Wazir on terrorist attack targeted Shabwa Defense Forces

The Governor of Shabwa, Awad bin Al-Wazir Al-Awlaki, vowed a decisive response to the terrorist operation and the treacherous attack on the security checkpoint of Shabwa Defense Forces, which led to the death of 5 soldiers and wounding of seven others, in Khamer area, eastern Ataq entrance to the governorate center.
This came while his inspection of the security checkpoint; affiliated with the Shabwa Defense Forces, getting acquainted with the details of the terrorist attack carried out by unknown elements, vowing to pursue the terrorists and refer them to the court and the Criminal Prosecution.
The Governor of Shabwa – Chairman of the Security Committee” stressed that “cowardly terrorist acts will not discourage the security services from carrying out their tasks in combating terrorism, confronting extremism and violence and violating efforts to enhance security and stability in the governorate.”
The “Governor of Shabwa – Awad Al-Wazir” called the military and security services; to the need to raise the level of security preparedness to avoid the recurrence of such terrorist crimes, and to repel schemes aimed at tampering with the security and stability of the province.
The governor directed to provide the necessary treatment to the wounded and injured; to alleviate their suffering, calling on the people of the governorate to unite the national ranks; to confront all forms of terrorist violence and extremism, expressing his deepest sympathy and sadness and sincere condolences to the families, relatives of the martyrs, asking Allah Almighty to have mercy on them and dwell their souls in vast gardens, wishing a speedy recovery to all the wounded and injured.
