Consultative meeting of preachers and imams in Aden stresses on moderate religious discourse and support people of South and their just cause

The Department of Preaching and Guidance in the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in the capital, Aden, on Tuesday, organized a consultative meeting for preachers and imams of mosques from all districts of the capital, under the patronage of President Aidarous Qassim Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Essam Abdo Ali, who is in charge of the tasks of the head of the local leadership of the Southern Transitional Council in the capital, Aden, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the distinguished preachers and imams, conveying to them the greetings of President Al-Zubaidi, wishing them and their meeting all success.
In his speech, Essam referred to the important role and the great duty placed on the shoulders of the preachers and imams of mosques towards the grieving people of the South, calling on everyone to close ranks, unite the word, spread the values of reconciliation and tolerance, and strengthen the home front so that we can defend on our land and our honor, repel the plot of hostility and defeat the aggressors, stressing the importance of adopting a moderate religious discourse that develops the spirit of belonging to this nation and its just cause and preserves its identity and southern social fabric, a discourse that protects our youth, daughters and children and immunizes them from the destructive scourge of this age and protects them from committing crimes and sins and following bad phenomena that violate the good values and principles approved by our true Islamic religion.
In the meeting, a number of speeches were also delivered by Sheikh Mohammed Mashdoud, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf, Sheikh Ahmed Mahdi, deputy head of Endowments and Guidance Committee of the National Assembly, and Sheikh Mohammed Ramzo, Director of the Preaching and Guidance Department in the Executive Body of the Transitional Council in the Capital, Aden, in which they expressed the importance of such meetings in unifying moderate religious discourse, exchanging messages of advice, direction and guidance, and standing together in support of the people of the South and their just cause.
During the meeting, a number of preachers and imams presented a set of interventions that expressed in their entirety the unity of the southern goal, and ways to contribute to confronting the brutal attempts launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militias against the people and land of the South, stressing the importance of intensifying calls to identify the great dangers that threaten our security. and our stability.
The participants in the meeting also expressed their thanks and deep appreciation for the efforts of the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council, led by President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, for what they offer to the people of the South, appreciating their support and sponsorship of such important and valuable consultative religious meetings.
