Coordination Committee of Adan University Protests the Catastrophic Situation in Adan
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Report – Mohamed Al-Hasany[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_label type=”info”]Amman – SMA – PIC[/su_label][/su_spacer] Coordination committee of Adan University protested the catastrophic situation of Adan and all other southern governorates because of Ben Doghr’s corrupt government. The protest was held on Monday morning and asserted the solidarity of university students with all sectors of the society who are dying of hunger. Protesters resents mass punishment, starvation and corruption of Ben Dogr’s governments indicating that this government is deliberately denies the daily needs of Adan. Students held signs against the corruption of this government in addition to southern flags. The coordination committee issued a statement and SAMA News is Publishing it:
Dear Academic Fellows and Students of Adan University
This protest comes in solidarity with our poor fellow citizens of the south who suffer hunger and tragic situations in the whole south because of unprecedent increases in food prices and horrific deterioration of local services in addition to severe manipulation of fuel prices and continuous blackouts of electric power. This is the price we are paying for our strong and courageous stand against Al-Houthi and Saleh militias supported by terrorism bands. This is the price for being with the Arab Ally fighting terrorism and tyranny.
This protest resents the policies of starvation initiated by Ben Doghr’s corrupt government that is serving Al-Houthi and Saleh’s interests and does every harm to the south just to pass the politically failure six regions project and to empower Muslim Brotherhood to seize power again. It is against any talks about negotiating with Al-Houthi and Saleh about authority.
The Coordination Committee of Adan University Students is fulfilling its responsibilities towards serving our people and our revolution. We are the holder of illumination torch against corruption, starvation, self-interests and tyranny enacted by this corrupt government in the south. We assure you that we are with you till we uncover the ugly face of corruption and get rid of this cancer. We are with you till we restore the rights of the south in full and rebuild a new generation of youth provided with awareness to bear the responsibility of reestablishing this nation.
At the end, we would like to assert the following:
• We are with you, students, faculty members and common people, to serve only the university, the people and this glorious country
• All patriotic efforts should be unified under the interest of the south
• The corrupt government is launching a war of high prices, starvation and deteriorated facilities just to distort the role of the Arab Ally in helping the south
• We demand that the Arab Ally should consider the real situation in the south and to support our rightful demands to empower our publicly-delegated leaders who are qualified enough to rule the south and run its affairs as this will support common interests in fighting terrorism and tyranny represented in Al-Houthi and Saleh militias and their terrorist arms in the south.
