#Corona .. Al-Waleedi and Al-Shabhi preside over important health meeting in Aden the capital
Dr. Ali Al-Waleedi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Health and Population for the primary health care sector, and Dr. Salem Al-Shabhi, head of the Health and Environment Committee of the National Assembly, chaired on Sunday, an important meeting of Corona Relief Committee for the Transitional Council.
The meeting discussed a number of programs and contingency plans related to the Corona virus and ways to combat it.
The meeting also discussed the recent arrangements related to the quarantine quarry at Al-Amal Hospital in Al-Borika and the rapid provision of diagnostic devices and equipment, medical supplies and medicines to the quarry, in coordination with the World Health Organization.
The conferees stressed on the need for concerted efforts and sharpening concern by all, without exception, to confront this virus and coordinate field movements, both in its field of competence.
The meeting was attended by members of the Corona Relief Committee in the Southern Transitional Council, representatives of the WHO office in the capital, Aden, and a number of health sector agents and assistants and directors of the general health departments.
