Crisis Cell of general secretariat discusses continuing crises in services and delayed payment of salaries

The Crisis Cell in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held its weekly meeting on Wednesday, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat, headed by Dr. Khaled Bamdhaf, Head of the Political Department of the General Secretariat, Head of the Crisis Cell, and in the presence of Mr. Lutfi Shatara; member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council.
In its meeting, the cell stood in front of a number of crises and problems that have become continuous and raging in a way they must be addressed seriously and quickly as soon as possible, especially the salary crisis of the military and civilian sectors, and military and civilian retirees, besides the crisis of services, in particular in electricity and water.
The cell stressed in its meeting that the parity government needs to take more interest in finding urgent and radical solutions to these crises that have afflicted the entire southern people, and that the patience of our people is running out.
At the same time, the cell praised the spirit of patience, steadfastness and endurance that our southern people exhibit despite those difficulties and problems they are suffering from, especially the delay in paying their salaries, as well as the psychological war they are suffering from through the continuous blackouts of electricity and water crisis.
At the end of its meeting, the cell praised the great efforts made by the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council, represented by President Aidaroos Qassem Al-Zubaidi, on various political, economic, security, and social levels, and at the level of political and diplomatic action abroad, especially the visit of the council’s delegation to the Russian Federation.
