Declaration of the Supreme Military Association of Southern Army and Security Troops in Tour Al-Baha – Lahj

[su_dropcap]T[/su_dropcap]he Supreme Military Association of Southern Army and Security Troops in Tour Al-Baha – Lahj held its declaration meeting with attendance of Ahmed Said Al-Zaouri, member of the southern national assembly, colonel Elwan Al-Atari, member of the preparation committee of the association and member of Lahj local leadership, Mohsen Hasan Abdullah, member of Lahj local leadership and Farid Hamoud Shalan, vice chairman of Lahj local leadership in Tour Al-Baha. The meeting elected the following persons for their positions:

1. Colonel Ali Awad Mohamed (chairperson)
2. Brigadier Hasan Abdu Salem (vice chairperson)
3. Colonel Mohamed Ahmed Al-Shataa (organization committee)
4. Colonel pilot Mohamed Abd Al-Razek Abd Al-Majeed Ghaleb (official spokesman)
5. First Chief Saber Mohamed Ahmed Al-Gelidi (media person)
6. Major Mohamed Ali Abdullah (financial officer)
   The meeting started with Quran followed by a mourning silence minute on the soles of martyrs of the southern revolution and southern resistance. Colonel Ali Awad, Ahmed Said Al-Zaouri and Colonel Elwan Al-Atari delivered their speeches that expressed relief with this founding meeting that includes prominent figures of officers and paddy officers of the southern army that was targeted with systematic destruction by the northern occupation regimen since 1994 till now as the Yemeni legitimacy government purposefully deny this sector from their deserved ranks and salaries in addition to decreased pensions for retired persons in policy of starvation just because those officers are holding the southern cause.
   Speeches also asserted the importance of unity and organization in preparation for upcoming missions as the southern state is very close after being discussed over international tables. Speeches also denounced any try to return to the doors of Yemen as southern governorates are now at the hands of their sons. They also confirmed the importance of sticking to the goals of liberation, independence and restoring the southern state on the borders of May 22nd, 1990 as solid principles.
   After discussions, the meeting asserted the following points:
7. The meeting approves all that came in speeches and asserts the field activation of southern peaceful struggle with full preparation to defend our lands and sacrifice for achieving the southern revolution goals of of liberation, independence and restoring the southern state.
8. The meeting appreciates the steps taken by the leadership of the Southern Transitional Council locally and internationally. The meeting also appreciates the visits of General Aidarous Al-Zubaidi to the capitals of UK, Saudi Arabia and Russia I addition to capitals of countries with permanent membership in UN Security Council.
9. The meeting requests local authorities, security forces and southern resistance and all social sectors in Al-Subaiha to stand against smuggling operations taking place by some wicked persons in Al-Mudaraba coast and Ras Al-Ara to directorates of Taiz controlled by Al-Houthis, parallel to Tour Al-Baha, as smuggling liquors, drugs and chemical used in explosives to Al-Houthis mean that these substances will return to us in the form of killing explosives. Therefore, we demand local authorities of the governorate to assume their responsibilities in stopping smuggling and robbery.
10. The meeting asserts the importance of participating in the event of March 24th, 2019 to be held in Al-Oroud (Al-Huria) Square in Khour Maxar – Aden in response to the call of the Supreme Military Association of Southern Army and Security Troops in the memory of the 12th anniversary of the launch Southern Peaceful Movement.
