Delegation from European Union arrives in Aden the capital

The First Undersecretary of Aden Governorate, MOhammed Nasr Shazly, received on Tuesday, a humanitarian delegation from the European Union at Aden International Airport.
During the reception, Al-Shazly welcomed the UN delegation, conveying the greetings of the Governor of Aden the capital, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, expressing his hope that this visit would contribute to alleviating the suffering of citizens and raising the level of coordination to ensure the delivery of humanitarian aid in the required manner.
The delegation of the UN delegation consists of the Deputy Director-General of the Humanitarian Aid Operations Department of the European Commission, Dr. Michael Koehler, the Director of the Office of the Humanitarian Aid Operations Department in Yemen, Ms. Heather Blackwell, and from Sweden, the Deputy Director-General responsible for humanitarian affairs at the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Karl Skau, and the Yemeni file official in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Spidar Hadi, and from Switzerland, Director of the Humanitarian Aid Office at the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Manuel Bessler, and the Yemen Program Coordinator at the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, Ms. Simone Troeller Aldrisee.
