Demonstration of Salvation in Seiyun confirms determination of Hadhramaut people to get their rights and sovereignty over their land

The city of Sayun in Hadhramaut governorate, on Friday, witnessed a massive demonstration of million called by the Assistant Executive Authority for the Affairs of Hadhramaut Valley and Desert districts, with the participation of Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, official spokesman of the Transitional Council, head of the National Southern Media Authority, and Brigadier Saeed Al-Mohammadi, head of the Executive Authority of the Transitional Council in Hadhramaut, Mr. Mohammed Abdul-Malik Al-Zubaidi, Head of the Executive Body of the Assistant Executive Authority in Hadhramaut Valley and Desert, and Sheikh Hassan Saeed Al-Jabri, Leader of the Hadrami uprising.
The demonstration began with recitation of verses from the Qur’an, then the southern national anthem, then Mr. Ali Abdullah Al-Kathiri delivered a speech in which he conveyed to the crowd the greetings of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, and his congratulations to them on the 59th anniversary of the glorious 14 October Revolution.
Al-Kathiri pointed out that October 14 Revolution is a source of inspiration for the fighters to draw from its heroic stations and the sacrifices of its revolutionaries, determination, patience, perseverance, and redemption.
Al-Kathiri affirmed the legitimacy of the demands of the people of Hadhramaut Valley, in managing their security and military affairs by themselves, pointing out that the Riyadh Agreement emphasized the removal of the military forces to the battlefronts against the Houthis.
Al-Kathiri said that the Hadrami Elite Forces must be deployed urgently throughout all areas of Hadhramaut, and on this occasion we salute the commander of the second military region, Major General Pilot Fayez al-Tamimi, and the local authority represented in Hadhramaut Governorate, the governor, Mr. Mabkhout Mubarak bin Madi.
Al-Kathiri stressed that the Transitional Council opens its arms to all political forces whose projects align with the Southern Transitional Council’s project to restore the southern state.
For his part, the head of the Executive Authority of the Transitional Council in Hadhramaut, Brigadier General Saeed Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, delivered a speech in which he expressed his thanks and appreciation to the crowds for their response to the invitation and participation in the event.
Al-Mohammadi reviewed the stages of struggle and heroic epics that our people fought in defense of their land, honor and religion, leading to the establishment of the Southern Transitional Council, noting that the establishment of the Council was the latest qualitative struggle in the march of our people’s struggle towards restoring their state.
Al-Mohammadi indicated that the Transitional Council, with the wisdom of its President, created the factors of victory, by imposing control on the land, and competently fighting the political battle, then its tolerant approach to all political forces that were hostile to it, stressing that the goal of our people is to restore their state, which sacrificed a lot, and waged a peaceful struggle, long and bitter, against a regime that does not know peace, in order to achieve it, and it is close to be achieved.
Al-Mohammadi said that our celebration today of this great occasion in Seiyun, the capital of the Hadhramaut Valley, is nothing but a confirmation of our determination to complete the liberation of every inch of our land.
He added, “We are here today, in this blessed demonstration of million and on this precious part of our homeland, to tell everyone that Hadhramaut Valley will be liberated, so that its people will be masters of it, in security, military and economic.”
Al-Mohammadi sent a message to those who are still singing the hollow slogans of unity, that they should join the Houthi, who fired the bullet of mercy at the unity state, as it no longer exists on the ground, after it was uttered by the hearts of southerners since 1994.
Mr. Mohammed Abdul-Malik Al-Zubaidi also delivered a speech, expressing his happiness at seeing these crowds creeping from different regions of Hadhramaut, pointing out that Seiyun and Hadhramaut Valley regions have been engaged in peaceful activities for months, demanding the removal of the forces of the First Military Region, and enabling the people of the valley to manage their own affairs.
Al-Zubaidi stressed the determination of the people of Hadhramaut Valley to carry out the struggle, and by various means, to achieve their aspirations for sovereignty over their land.
Sheikh Hassan Saeed Al-Jabri also spoke in the demonstration of million, stressing the determination of the men of Hadhramaut to grab their right, regardless of the challenges.
The people of Hadhramaut, in their millions, which was held under the generous patronage of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council, chanted the southern anthems and raised slogans rejecting the presence of the militias of the First Military Region, and the crowd listened to a number of national poems, expressing the emotions of the demonstrators and they interacted with expressions of applause.
