Department of Culture of the Southern Transitional Council Launches the Cultural Rest Project for Reading for All
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Adan – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] Department of culture of the southern transitional council launched the Cultural Rest project to provide reading opportunities for all in public parks of Adan. The project started with Queen Victoria Park – Al-Tawahy as the park was provided with a public library that includes general knowledge books, children books and press issues of the southern transitional council. Am Okail, chairman of the department of culture at the general assembly of the southern transitional council, Mansour Saleh, vice chairman of the department of media of the southern transitional council, and Ali Al-Sayed, deputy chief of Al-Tawahy police department attended the launch. Mr. Okail indicated that the project aims to foster the reading culture, especially for children and youth. He added that the launch came along with two great memories for the southern people. These are the Historic Declaration of Adan and the establishment of the Southern Transitional Council.
