Department of Women and Child organizes celebration in Amran on occasion of International Day of Child

The Department of Women and Child in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, on Thursday, organized a celebration ceremony in Amran region of Al-Buraiqah district, in coordination with the administration of Women and Child in the Executive Body of the Transitional Council in the Capital, Aden.
Ms. Ishtiaq Mohammed Saad, Head of the Department of Women and Child, delivered a speech in which she expressed her great happiness with this event, which comes on the occasion of the International Day of the Child, stressing that children are an important group that requires everyone to pay the required attention to them and make a continuous effort to provide them with all kinds of assistance and support, as they are being the mainstay of the future in the governorates of the South.
The event, which was held at Amran School in Al-Buraiqah district, included a number of performance, entertainment and chanting presentations for children, in which Ms. Ishtiaq Saad, along with Imtithal Ibrahim, Head of Women and Child administration in the Transitional Council Executive in the capital, Aden, distributed a number of winter clothes and gifts to all students in Amran School.
In the same context, the Department of Women and Child launched an awareness lecture for educators and teachers of the school on the occasion of the International Day of Diabetics, which was given to them by Dr. Zoha Al-Saadi, before they visited the school exhibition, which contained many pictures and valuable crafts, where they viewed the artworks made by the students of the school.
