Department of Women and Children organizes women’s meeting in the capital, Aden

The Women and Children Department of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, on Wednesday, held a women’s meeting in Bir Ahmed area of the capital, Aden, under the auspices of President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Southern Transitional Council.
In the meeting, which was entitled “We meet to develop the spirit of women’s social relations”, Ms. Yasmine Humaid, Deputy Head of the Women and Child Department, delivered a speech in which she welcomed the attendees, conveying to them the greetings of the political leadership of the Transitional Council, represented by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, stressing that President Al-Zubaidi pays great attention to women and their issues, sensing the position of women in society and their pivotal role in all the historical turning points that the south has gone through.
Humaid pointed out that this meeting comes under exceptional circumstances in the country, where we prove to everyone that southern women will continue to adhere to the values of love and loyalty to the southern homeland and seek rapprochement of visions, cohesion, unity of ranks and strengthening the values of the southern social fabric, to move forward towards restoring the state that will grant women their political, economic and social rights.
For their part, the participants thanked the Women and Child Department for organizing this meeting, which proves the extent of the Southern Transitional Council’s keenness to strengthen the unity of the ranks and bring the views of the southerners closer.
