Deputy British Ambassador to Yemen and Political Director of the Yemeni File in the British Ministry of Foreign Affairs Visit Members of the Southern Transitional Council in Riyadh
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Riyadh – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_dropcap]H[/su_dropcap]er excellency, Ms. Fiona Walker Deputy British Ambassador to Yemen, and Mrs. Abarana Clarks, political director of the Yemeni file in London, visited Dr. Nasser Al-Khabji, member of the southern transitional council’s presidency and head of negotiation commission, Dr. Aidarous Al-Naqueeb, chairman of the department of foreign affairs of the southern transitional council, and Mr. Adel Al-Shubhi, member of the department of foreign affairs, at their residence in Riyadh.
The meeting discussed files of Yemeni crisis and the southern cause in addition to the role of the southern transitional council in these files during the upcoming stage. Several files, including relations with UK, current war and anti-terrorism efforts, were discussed. The meeting asserted the importance of involving the southern transitional council in any political solution in Yemen to avoid past mistakes. Members of the council thanked UK government and diplomates for their efforts during the current stage to solve this crisis and end the war in Yemen.
