Deputy Secretary-General of STC reviews with Governor of Socotra efforts of local authority in the archipelago

Mr. Fadl Mohammed Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General of the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council “STC”, member of the Presidency, met on Wednesday, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat in the capital, Aden, with Eng. Raafat Ali Al-Thaqali, Governor of Socotra Archipelago governorate.
Al-Jaadi welcomed the governor of Socotra archipelago, praising the heroic stances of the people of the governorate and the role played by the local authority there in order to improve conditions, advance development and meet the needs of the population, appreciating the gains made in Socotra by the will of its people who stood before the intrigues and plans that target it, and confronted the projects of chaos that the enemies of the South target the governorate with.
The meeting discussed developments in the governorate and the conditions of citizens and their living status of the people of the Socotra archipelago.
The meeting also reviewed the efforts made by the local authority in the archipelago in order to provide security and stability and maintain public peace, and its tasks that would mitigate the crises experienced by the citizen there and work to meet the needs of the citizens of the province as much as possible. .
For his part, Eng. Raafat Al-Thaqly expressed his happiness at meeting the Deputy Secretary-General and his appreciation for the care and concern for the Socotra Archipelago Governorate and everything that is in its interest and serving its residents, stressing that the local authority in the governorate is doing everything in its power to provide a decent life for the citizens of the archipelago and is working to overcome all possible difficulties that may stand in front of the lives of the sons of Socotra.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Salem Al-Shabhi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Chairman of the Health Committee in the National Assembly, and Mr. Khaled Abdul-Rahim Ibrahim, Assistant Director General of Socotra Airport, and businessman Abdullah Ahmed Bahamoumi.
