Deputy Secretary-General of Transitional Council meets National Network for Rights of Disabled (People of Determination)

The Deputy Secretary-General of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, met on Wednesday, at the headquarter of the General Secretariat in the capital, Aden, with members of the National Network for the Advocacy of the Rights of the Disabled.
Al-Jaadi stressed in the meeting that the Disabled are people of determination who represent persistence, determination and struggle in the march of life, stressing the need to pay attention to this group of society, and work to help them, and to intensify all efforts to obtain all their rights, and to benefit from their talents and refine them in order to facilitate their rehabilitation and integration into society.
The meeting reviewed the conditions of the Handicapped Fund, and the difficulties it faces, with methods of addressing them, and the demands of the handicapped to obtain their rights stipulated in the International Convention for People of Determination and in local laws.
The National Network for Advocating the Rights of People of Determination expressed their happiness at meeting the Deputy Secretary-General and their appreciation for his understanding of the reality of their condition and the suffering of people of determination, wishing that difficulties of handicapped would be overcome, and that the disabled would obtain their rights guaranteed by local laws and international agreements.
The meeting was attended by Head of the Social Affairs Department at the General Secretariat, Aad Mohammad Ali Haitham.
