Destroying a shipment of rotten chicken of 1,200 packets in Aden

The Standards and Metrology Authority announced on Thursday, the destruction of a shipment of spoiled frozen chicken, which was seized by the Al-Alam checkpoint of Aden Ring Forces early last week.

It was announced that the Authority’s examinations revealed damage to the shipment as a result of poor storage, as the examinations showed that the chicken’s tissues were damaged and blood appeared on them after it was re-frozen.

The process of destroying the shipment included 1,200 packets of various sizes, after taking the official legal procedures followed in the presence of representatives of the Security Belt Forces and the Standards and Metrology Authority.
