Directives from Governor of Aden the capital about approaching of Eid al-Adha

The Minister of State, Governor of the capital, Aden, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, stressed on addressing the problems facing the local community in various aspects, and urged more arrangements to receive the blessed Eid al-Adha, during his periodic meeting with general directors, public works officials in the districts and the Hygiene and Improvement Fund in the capital.
The meeting stood before the previous directives and outputs, evaluated the achievement in each district, discussing the difficulties encountered in some works, and developed treatments and solutions to implement them.
The meeting reviewed a report by the Water Corporation and the local authority in Tawahi district on the random construction over the Golden Mohr Bridge and the risk to the tunnel, where water leakage led to large bulges in addition to legal violations and abuses, pointing to the need for urgent solutions to remove the random construction and carry out engineering repairs to protect the tunnel from collapse.
Lamlas discussed the arrangements for receiving Eid al-Adha and urged everyone to do their duty, in addition to encouraging the spirit of initiative present in Aden by some soldiers who are keen to continue and provide service during holidays, especially in the indispensable health centers where many citizens suffer from some problems and they are in dire need of the health services provided, pointing to the importance and role of traffic men in spreading, regulating traffic and addressing traffic jams that occur in some locations.
The meeting recommended setting a budget for women in the districts in a way that contributes to activating the targeted activities and programs in addition to facing all the challenges and difficulties facing the local community by going to the field and touching the needs, requirements and concerns of the citizens and responding to them based on the duty and responsibility that falls on us, as we are employees and not guests.
The meeting dealt with the problems and reality of water and sanitation in the districts, the progress of maintenance and rehabilitation work for parks, outlets, tours and roads, and the restoration of lighting work in various streets.
