Director of the Industry and Trade Office in Aden the Capital Tasks Oversight with Issuing a Unified Price List

Brigadier General Waseem Al-Omari, Director General of the Industry and Trade Office in the capital, Aden, reviewed the quarterly report submitted by the directors of the districts’ offices regarding the level of achievement during the past period. He emphasized the need to double work and increase field performance to meet citizens’ aspirations and enhance market stability.
Al-Omari praised the efforts made by the oversight teams during the previous phase and the tangible results achieved in price control and consumer protection. He emphasized the importance of continuing the same momentum and measuring the impact at the district level on a weekly basis.
The Director General of the Office directed the Market Control and Consumer Protection Department to prepare a unified price list that includes all specified commodities from major agents and suppliers, up to the retail price for the consumer. This list will be completed and submitted to local authorities in the districts within a week, enhancing transparency and ensuring a unified pricing framework across the local market.
