The Decision-Making Support Center (DMSC) in the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its regularly-scheduled meeting for the month of February 2023 on Thursday, chaired by Dr. Khaled Ba-Madhaf, head of the DMSC.
The meeting reviewed several topics and issues, including the miserable economic and living conditions and the skyrocketing prices, and called on the concerned bodies in the STC to coordinate with the local authorities, and put in place a mechanism to delimit and monitor this rise in prices, especially the basic commodities, to alleviate the distress of citizens, as well as raising many suggestions and remarks on these issues.
The meeting, too, touched on the situation in the governorates of Abyan, Hadramout, and Almahra and recommended supporting young people in their protest against the forces of terrorism and to organizing awareness-raising workshops for them.
The DMSC applauds the efforts of the southern security forces against terrorist elements, and calls for increased security vigilance and awareness among the southern forces to combat war rumours and immunize them so that they are not vulnerable to rumours and lies that endanger the southern forces.
The meeting, too, discussed the draft of a monitoring report in preparation for submitting it to the leadership of the STC in the form of recommendations.
