Doctors Sans Frontiers: Health Situation in Yemen is Hopeless
[su_label type=”info”]SAMA News – Sanaa[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″][su_label type=”info”]Amman – SMA – PIC[/su_label][/su_spacer] Doctors Sans Frontiers, an international NGO of health care and humanitarian aids, indicated that millions of Yemeni citizens are facing a hopeless health situation although Cholera epidemic is ceasing. The NGO indicated that: 30 months of war, unemployment and high prices of goods affected inhabitants significantly. Ghassan Abu Shaar, head of DAF delegation to Yemen indicated that: millions of Yemeni people cannot afford basic health care and they are in the middle of a hopeless crisis. He added that the delay of paying health care workers’ salaries for nearly 113 months increased the adverse effects of this serious situation.
