The Minister of State, Governor of the capital, Aden, Ahmed Hamid Lamlas, on Monday, directed the formation of a joint team from the Revenue Development Center and the Money Exchange Association, to enhance and facilitate the revenues collection process and control it officially and legally.
During a meeting he held with the President of the Chamber of Commerce, Abu Bakr Baobaid, the Money Exchange Association, and a number of businessmen and financiers, Lamlas affirmed the keenness of the local authority in the capital, Aden, to implement law and order, stop financial waste, and regulate the work of revenues, expressing his complete rejection of all negative behaviors and phenomena that accompanied the collection process in a number of district.
The meeting discussed the economic situation in the capital, Aden, the mechanism of joint work and cooperation to enhance the factors that attract investments and development projects, and ways to solve some of the problems and negative behaviors faced by merchants.
The meeting concluded by establishing a communication and contact mechanism between the local authority and the Chamber of Commerce, ensuring the application of law and order in collecting and immediately dealing with negative behavior that occurs on both sides.
