During Hajar Festival in Yafea, the Southern Transitional Council Asserts that No Negotiations without Restoring the Southern State
Yafea is celebrating its folk heritage in a sequence of festival. Hajar Labous held the second festival attended by tens of southern leaders. The first part displayed folk heritage of Yafea’s directorates. Participants presented “Zawamel”, ancient folk rhetoric speeches.
Several attendants delivered speeches asserting the southern right of restoring the southern state, for which the south sacrificed thousands of martyrs. They also asserted their full support to southern resistance and security belt troops to maintain their victories. They indicated that folk heritage of Yafea represents authenticity and established civilization of Yafea that the occupation tried to eliminate.
Lofty Shatar, member of the southern transitional council’s presidency, delivered the council’s speech asserting that any negotiations that don’t fulfill the expectations of the southern people in liberation and independence will be rejected.
Ali Ben Ali Al-Mutairi, chairman of Labous local leadership asserted the same goal for which martyrs sacrifices their lives and thanked the Arab Coalition for supporting the south in defeating coup militias. He demanded more support to services as the government of legitimacy corruption is practicing starvation policy against the south.
Brigadier Muneer Al-Yafai (Abu Yamama), commander of the first brigade backup and support, praised Yafea for preserving its folk heritage. He also sent several important local and international messages. Abu Yamam invited local leadership and tribal leaders of Labous to meet in his house in Aden to discuss solutions for services problems, especially electricity.
Commander Abd Al-Nasser Al-Bawa (Abu Hammam), commander of southern resistance council in Aden, asserted that southern resistance is the security valve for the southern revolution and will never allow to be used as a political card at the expense of martyrs’ blood. He demanded the people to support real leaderships.
The festival included several folk poems about the south and hopes for restoring the southern state.
Sheikh Abd Al-Rab Al-Naqueeb and Lotfy Shatara, members of the southern transitional council’s presidency, in addition to brigadier Muneer Al-Yafai (Abu Yamama), commander of the first brigade backup and support, commander Abu Hammam Bawa, commander of Aden Resistance Council, commander Nasser Huaider, member of the national assembly, Hussain Saleh Thabet, chairman of political department of Lahj, general directors of Yafea directorates, chairmen of transitional councils in Yafea, chairmen of military and resistance councils in Yafea, members of National Assembly, members of governorate’s councils, representatives of southern support groups, activists, media men and citizens attended the festival.
