During his reception of French Ambassador… Al-Bahsani calls for investment in Hadhramaut

Major General Faraj Al-Bahsani, Vice President of the Southern Transitional Council and member of the Presidential Leadership Council, during his reception with the French Ambassador, Catherine Corm Kammoun, on Sunday, discussed ways of cooperation between the two friendly countries.
The two sides discussed the latest developments in the political situation, regional and international efforts to bring peace, and the positive position of the Presidential Leadership Council with the calm initiatives, to alleviate the suffering of citizens.
Al-Bahsani referred to the celebrations of the eighth anniversary of the liberation of the Hadhramaut coast from elements of the terrorist Al-Qaeda organization, pointing out the importance of the April 24 anniversary in the hearts of the people of Hadhramaut and the nation, explaining that the Hadhrami elite forces, with the support of the United Arab Emirates, liberated the coastal cities from the grip of terrorist organizations in April 2015.
He said that Hadhramaut Governorate is rich in natural resources, in the fish, animal, agricultural, oil and mineral sectors, which requires investment and economic activity equal to the size of the diversity of resources, expressing the readiness of the Presidential Leadership Council, the government and local authorities to provide the necessary facilities for development and economic projects, to strengthen the national economy and provide opportunities. Work for the youth sector and improving the level of public services.
For her part, the French Ambassador expressed her country’s firm position in support of the efforts of the Presidential Leadership Council and the government to achieve the aspirations of citizens, stressing continued support for development projects.
