During launch of National Program for Youth and Development… Governor of Aden: “We are keen to employ energies of youths”

The governor of Aden the capital, Minister of State, Mr. Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, expressed his keenness to employ the energies and ideas of young people into projects on reality, looking forward to sponsorship the Presidential Leadership Council and the government for the youth.
This came in a speech delivered on his behalf by the Director-General of his office, Mohammed Al-Junaidi, during the launch of the activities of the National Program for Youth and Development.
In the speech of Governor Lamlas, he stressed that the local authority in the capital Aden adopts many programs and plans to invest the energies of youth, in a way to contribute to the development of the local community, through the National Program for Youth and Development.
Lamlas expressed the need to arm the youth in Aden the capital with civic values and life skills with purposeful and sustainable programs to ensure effective outcomes that positively reflect on the reality of the city and the future of its youth.
He pointed out to the need to benefit from the capabilities of the youths in addition to protecting and immunizing them to be prevented from falling in the hands of the forces of terrorism, drugs, and bullying.
Lamlas added that the local authority in the capital, Aden, seeks to benefit from the experiences and successes of others, and places employment on the priorities of its work, in addition to the optimal exploitation of human wealth.
In his speech, Lamlas said that the local authority is keen to give young people the opportunity they deserve to participate in various service and development fields, and looks forward to the youth receiving more care and attention from the government, the Presidential Leadership Council, and from civil society organizations.
