During the Meeting with Chairman of the Southern National Assembly, Liberation Front Party Issues a Press Statement
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Aden – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] As part of the southern/southern dialogues among all southern parties and components, according to the call of general Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, president of the Southern Transitional Council, chairman of the Southern National Assembly and former governor of Hadhramaut, General Ahmed Said Ben Brik, held a meeting with the leadership of the Liberation Front Party. Ben Brik welcomed the party members and appreciated their willingness to talk as this will work on unifying the south in one line according to the previous agreement of all southern parties and components to unify the negotiation team representing the south in any upcoming negotiations under UN support. He added that these meetings are preliminary and will be followed by more meetings about negotiations. He also asserted that the council is eager to unify all southern parties and components in one unified body along with the council as the vision of the council concentrates on true partnership with all southern parties and not to take the lead alone as this is the critical number in the equation of the new south vision.
Dr. Anis Yousef Lockman, vice chairman of the southern national assembly and Brigadier Nasser Al-Saadi, member of the council’s presidency and commission of the dialogue among political parties and components, attended the meeting.
Hasan Ali Saleh Al-Ameri, representative of Hadhramaut and deputy secretary general of the party, asserted the party’s support to the council’s October 3rd statement, calling all parties and components to support the council and the statement to achieve the desired goal of restoring the southern state without exclusion.

On Sunday October 29th, 2018, a consultative meeting was held between the Southern Transitional Council and Liberation Front Party. The meeting was headed by General Ahmed Said Ben Brik. Member of the council’s presidency, chairman of the Southern National Assembly and chairman of the dialogue commission among southern political parties and components. Representatives of the Liberation Front Party were headed by Hasan Ali Saleh Al-Ameri, representative of Hadhramaut and deputy secretary general of the party.
Both parties agreed that this consultative meeting aims at unifying political discourse with the purpose of unifying the southern components that believe in restoring the southern state without any exclusions.
Consultations supported October 3rd statement issued by the Southern Transitional Council in addition to partnership in decision-making process that will lead to liberation and freedom while facilitating all matters that may hinder the unification of the southern line.
The meeting also agreed on continuing future consultative talks that will lead to official negotiation inside and outside.
In addition, the meeting discussed recent national, regional and international developments and events that affect the political work of the south. The meeting also asserted that the council should start all practical procedures to achieve the desired goal in restoring the southern state and to represent the south as a political representative of the southern crowds. The Liberation Front Party welcomes all measures taken by the Southern Transitional Council as a representative of the southern people and fully supports the council during consultations that may unify the southern line towards restoring the southern state.
