Economic Committee of Transitional Council discusses urgent measures to alleviate suffering of residents in Aden

Dr. Abdul Nasser Al-Wali, member of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, Head of the local leadership of the Transitional Council in Aden the capital, chaired a meeting of the Transitional Council’s economic committee, with participation of Dr. Abdel Salam Humaid, the advisor of the President of Transitional Council for economic affairs,.

The meeting reviewed the developments in the capital Aden, and the economic impacts resulting from the natural disaster caused by the atmospheric depression that hit the capital last week.

The meeting discussed the appropriate and possible mechanism for urgent intervention to stop the rapid deterioration of generation capacity for power stations, which contributes to alleviating the suffering of citizens in the capital Aden during the holy month of Ramadan.

The meeting touched on the environmental impacts of flood waters in the districts of the capital and the quick and possible measures to enhance the work carried out by the relief committees of the Transitional Council in the districts because these wastes did not turn into foci of breeding insects that transmit diseases and epidemics.
