SMA NEWS – ADEN THE CAPITAL
The External Southern National Dialogue Team (ESNDT) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held a virtual meeting on Wednesday, chaired by Mr. Ahmed Omar bin Farid, head of the team.
The meeting discussed a range of points related to the ESNDT’s activity and its continued communication with some parties that did not participate in the expanded southern consultative meeting held in the capital, Aden, to reach a common formula with them.
The meeting also reviewed the efforts made over the past month with some southern parties, which have achieved significant progress that can be built on to achieve comprehensive understandings.
The meeting lauded the support of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, President of the STC and Vice-Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC), for those efforts and his continuous emphasis on the STC’s approach based on pursuing dialogue with all parties with no exception.
The meeting also appreciated the great efforts of the Vice President of the STC, Major General Faraj Salmeen Al-Bahsani, in supporting the dialogue and his keenness to achieve the broadest possible Southern cohesiveness and rapprochement at this sensitive stage.
At the end of the meeting, the ESNDT took practical measures to facilitate the task of reaching consensus with the parties involved in the dialogue.
