Exhausting a Smuggling Operation of Explosive Components in Lahj

Command and Control Room of Lahj Security Department indicated that accurate investigations asserted that two persons prepared for a smuggling operation on the desert road between Al-Wahat and Al-Ara and an anti-smuggling unit was ordered to stop them. the report indicated that the unit pursed a Toyota Van and arrested the driver and his companion. The van was carrying 1890 liters of row acid in 36 plastic bottles. The driver and his companion are now under interrogation. The confiscated materials are usually used in manufacturing explosives and rockets as smuggling bands got used to provide Al-Houthi militias with such materials through desert roads after being received from boats that escaped coast guard’s inspection. The driver and his companion will be transferred to judicial bodies at the end of interrogation.
