Exploding gas pipeline in Balhaf facility after the Prime Minister’s statement about its reoperation

Local sources revealed that the gas pipeline of Balhaf facility in Shabwa governorate was blown up by unknown assailants on Sunday evening.
The sources said that the pipeline that transports gas from Safer fields in Marib was blown up in Mayfa’a district, which led to a fire.
This incident comes after Prime Minister Maeen Abdul-Malik revealed, last Thursday, that there are discussions between the government and the American and French sides to re-export gas from Balhaf facility in Shabwa.
