Fifth Brigade Backup and Support, in Cooperation with Southern Resistance of Karsh, Control the Strategic Hill of Gebel Al-Hammala Overseeing Al-Raheda

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Lahj – Karsh – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] Under commandership of brigadier Mukhtar Al-Nouby, the troops of fifth brigade backup and support, in cooperation with the southern resistance of Karsh, took full control over the strategic hills of Gebel Al-Hammala, a very significant post that oversees Al-Raheda – Taiz. Al-Houthi militias implanted land mines to hinder the troops from advancing but the troops managed to deploy and control the hills. Troops also seized weapons of Al-Houthis including medium range weapons and mortar canons used by the militias to bombard the near by villages. Arab Coalition troops bombarded military enforcements that were heading to the militias and destroyed a military set and killed several militants. Two members of the first unit of the brigade were injured during the attack as one of them is in serious condition because of his head trauma.
