Finding bodies of 22 people whose cars were swept away by torrents

Citizens found many bodies of people who were swept away by torrential rains after heavy rains on Sunday, by Haifan Tur Al-Baha Road, between the governorates of Taiz and Lahj.

Local residents said that they found about 22 bodies of citizens who were swept away by the floods along with their cars, after heavy rains in the area.

Earlier, the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) announced that 1,753 families have been displaced as a result of the floods that the country has witnessed since the beginning of this year 2023.
