Fog Spray Campaign Launched in Abian by UAE Red Crescent

[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Abian – Exclusive[/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] [su_dropcap]AS[/su_dropcap] part of the urgent response campaign launched by UAE Red crescent in the liberated governorates, health care and population department of Abian started a fog spray campaign in Abian against mosquitoes carrying malaria and dengue fever. The campaign targeted Zanzibar and Khanfar for five days.

             The campaign came after cleansing campaign launched in Aden streets with support of UAE Red Crescent.

            Gamal Amzib, director of Abian Health Care department, appreciated UAE Red Crescent efforts. He indicated that the campaign aims to fight disease-carrying insects especially malaria and dengue fever mosquitoes as the campaign sprays insecticide fog over dumpsters and swamps.

            Saleh Nasser, a leader in Abian local leadership of STC, expressed the thanks of Abian citizens for UAE and its humanitarian aids arm, UAE Red Crescent, for their support to Abian in all fields.

            It is noteworthy that UAE Red Crescent launched several campaign including cleansings, return to school, food baskets and fog spray.
