Forces of the Fifth Shabwa Defense Brigade repel a Houthi attack in the Upper Markha District

Late on Wednesday evening, the Fifth Shabwa Defense Brigade companies thwarted an attack launched by the terrorist Houthi militia on military positions in the Upper Markha District, bordering the Yemeni governorate of Al Bayda.
The forces of the Fifth Brigade bravely and with great determination repelled the advance of Houthi elements who sought to advance towards the southeastern outskirts to reach the outskirts of the Upper Markha District, but their attempt failed miserably.
This hostile Houthi attack was launched under heavy fire cover, using mortars and medium and light weapons. The heroes of the defense forces repelled it in clashes that lasted for hours.
The terrorist Houthi militias continue their desperate attempts to attack the border fronts in Shabwa Governorate, but Thanks to the vigilance and courage of the Shabwa Defense Forces and the Southern Giants Brigades, the hopes of those militias in achieving their goals are dispelled.
