Foreign Affairs Representative of STC to Germany meets Director of the Middle East and North Africa Program at Berghof Foundation

The representative of the General Department of Foreign Affairs of the Southern Transitional Council to the Federal Republic of Germany, Dr. Amin Al-Ghazali, on Thursday, met Mr. Oliver Wells, Director of the Program to Support Peace in the Middle East and North Africa at the Berghof Foundation.
The meeting, which took place at the headquarters of the German Foundation in the German capital, Berlin, discussed developments in the political and economic situation, efforts to combat terrorism, and the regional and international political movement to reach a comprehensive and sustainable peace that ends the war.
During the meeting, Al-Ghazali stressed the necessity of designing a special negotiating framework for the issue of the people of the South as a basis for launching a comprehensive political process, bringing peace and establishing stability in the South and Yemen, praising the endeavors and efforts made by the Berghof Foundation.
In turn, Mr. Wells stressed the importance of supporting peace efforts sponsored by the United Nations, as well as supporting efforts to combat terrorism.
