Former Prime Minister, Haidar Abu Bakr Al-Attas, Receives US Ambassador to Yemen
[su_label type=”info”]SMA News – Jeddah – Exclusive [/su_label][su_spacer size=”10″] Former prime minister and chancellor of president, Haidar Abu Bakr Al-Attas, received Mr. Mathew Toller, US ambassador to Yemen, in his house in Jeddah on Saturday March 17th, 2018. The meeting came in a series of meetings since Al-Houthi/Saleh coup against legitimacy and outcomes of the national dialogue followed by Storm of Determination and Hope Restoration military operations. The meeting discussed the general situation in the north and south in addition to potential solutions to end the coup and its military and security consequences. The meeting also discussed establishing a solid ground for political dialogue and negotiations based on solving all unsolved political, economic and security issues as a base for total development in the north and south. The meeting praised the efforts of unifying all resistance and political powers in the south in addition to to unifying the powers of the Public Conference party so that the political process takes its right path. The meeting expressed a sincere hope for UN supportive role through the new UN delegate to Yemen in addition to supporting legitimacy and Arab Coalition and their efforts to end the war and start a true political process. Al-Attas thanked the US ambassador for his efforts with all political parties and US support for the legitimacy and the Arab Coalition. US ambassador expressed his thanks to Al-Attas for the meeting that came in a very critical stage.
