Al-Houthi militias removed the mosques name plate and replaced them with other plates with the name of “The People’s Mosque”. The mosque was named after the ousted Yemeni president Al- Abdullah Saleh. It is noteworthy that conflicts betwee the two parties of the coup – Saleh and Al-Houthi – led to the killing of Saleh on the hand of his x-ally, Al-Houthi.
