GDFA Holds Periodic Meeting and Emphasizes National Fundamentals of People of the South

The General Directorate of Foreign Affairs (GDFA) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) reviewed, during its meeting on Monday in the capital Aden, the most prominent developments in the southern landscape, and the related positions on the regional and international arena.
The meeting, chaired by Mr. Anis Al-Sharafi, Deputy Director of the GDFA, reaffirmed the demands and aspirations of the people of the South and their national cause, as well as their right to determine the political future and restore their state with no tutelage or interference and no concession or complacency on the national fundamentals of independence, restoring, and building the Southern Federal State on its entire national soil with its full sovereignty and internationally recognized borders on May 21, 1990.
The meeting called for focusing attention on the acts of suppression practiced against our southern people in Hadramout, and the terrorist attacks launched by the terrorist Houthi militia on oil exporting ports and vital facilities in the South, stressing the need for concerted local, regional, and international efforts to confront the threat of terrorist groups and the Houthi militia, whose danger is growing day by day in targeting internal, regional, and international peace and security, especially after targeting vital economic facilities and threatening energy supplies and international navigation, and disregarding the decrees and calls of the international community.
The meeting discussed the reports of the representatives of the GDFA on political and diplomatic endeavours and activities, and the results of their communications with political decision-making centers in the countries of representation, media centers, international organizations, research centers, studies, and decision-making in major powers, as well as with southern communities abroad and supporting their activities.
The meeting affirmed the need to intensify diplomatic endeavours and activate political and media communication aimed at conveying the voice of the South and strengthening the role of the STC on the international stage.
The meeting also shed light on certain organizational topics and took the appropriate measures and decisions.
