GDFA Organizes Workshop on “Impact of Regional Variables on Southern Scene”

The General Department of Foreign Affairs (GDFA) of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) organized on Sunday, in the capital, Aden, a workshop entitled “”Impact of Regional Variables on Southern Scene: Historical Background and Future Foresight.”

The workshop started with a speech delivered by Dr. Saleh Mohsen Al-Hajj, Director of the GDFA, in which he warmly welcomed the attendees, including politicians, academicians, and researchers, conveying to them the greetings of President Aidarous Qassem Al-Zubaidi, under whose patronage this workshop was held.

A select group of academicians, researchers, leaders, and cadres of the STC participated in the workshop, most notably the researcher at the Institute for Arabian Peninsula Studies from the United States, Mr. Bashar Jarrar, the researcher in the history of the capital Aden and the South, Mr. Najmi Abdul Majid, the head of the Aden Center for Monitoring, Studies, and Training; a member of the Research and Decision Support Center (RDSC), Mr. Qasim Daoud, and a member of the RDSC, Dr. Abdul-Hakim Al-Arashi.

The workshop discussed a range of axes and topics on political affairs in the South, shedding light on Iranian ambitions in the entire region and surveying the cause of the South in the light of global political changes.

The workshop was highly praised by the participants, who expressed their benefits from all the fruitful topics that were presented and discussed.
