General Directorate of Foreign Affairs holds extended meeting headed by Al-Ghaithi

The head of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs of the Southern Transitional Council, Mr. Mohammad Al-Ghaithi, chaired on Sunday, in the capital, Aden, the extended meeting of the General Directorate of Foreign Affairs, after a number of decisions issued by the President of the Transitional Council, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, that included wide appointments in the directorate and its offices, including the transfer of its permanent headquarters to the capital, Aden.
The meeting was attended by the deputy head of the directorate, and heads of its departments, officials and advisors, its representatives and directors of its offices abroad, in which Al-Ghaithi conveyed the greetings of President Al-Zubaidi, congratulating them for the confidence of the political leadership, and noting that the president and the leadership of the Council are looking forward with hope to what the Directorate of Foreign Affairs will present and accomplish during the coming period.
Al-Ghaithi stressed the importance of the primary role that the head and leadership of the Directorate of Foreign Affairs and its representatives presented in the previous period, pointing to the achievements made in the past three years, starting since the establishment and till up to achieving the political presence for which the previous leadership of the administration made great efforts with the support of the political leadership represented by the President Al-Zubaidi.
At the same time, Al-Ghaithi stressed the need to activate and intensify the work of the directorate in accordance with well-studied plans, and with mechanisms that ensure the ability of the Council’s foreign affairs to keep pace with this very important stage, noting that the next stage will witness a comprehensive development and modernization in all departments of the diretorate to meet the existing aspirations, and to achieve the ambitions and the political goals of the people of the south and their leadership in the Southern Transitional Council at the external level in light of the rapid political and field changes.
The head of the Directorate of Foreign Affairs referred to the diligent follow-up and supportive efforts made by the President of the Council for the success of the Directorate’s work and the implementation of its upcoming plans, noting that the achievements that each person will achieve will be a fair standard for a comprehensive and continuous evaluation process, stressing the support of the leadership for all ideas and proposals that would enhance the presence of the people of the south and their just cause in the region and the world.
At the conclusion of the meeting, constructive interventions were made to advance the administration’s work, in which everyone highly valued the trust placed in them by the political leadership represented by President Aidarous Al-Zubaidi, stressing their readiness to make double efforts in order to move to an advanced level of external political action.
