General Secretariat of STC Holds Periodic Meeting and Condemns the Assassination Attempt on Hadramout HEBLL

The General Secretariat of the Presidium of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) condemned the cowardly terrorist assassination attempt against Brigadier General Saeed Ahmed Al-Mohammadi, head of the Executive Body of the Local Leadership (HEBLL) of the STC in Hadramout Governorate.
It took place at its periodic meeting on Wednesday in the capital, Aden, chaired by Mr. Fadhl Mohammed Al-Gaadi, member of the STC’s Presidium and deputy secretary general.
The General Secretariat expressed its strong condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist operation that targeted the HEBLL, in Hadhramaut, indicating its categorical rejection of acts of extremism and terrorism targeting the people of the South with the aim of discouraging them from the struggle and fulfilling their right to restore the independent state of the South with its full sovereignty.
The meeting reviewed the most prominent developments in the southern landscape, and two performance reports submitted by the Departments of Thought and Guidance and Social Affairs for the third quarter of the year 2022.
The meeting touched on the weekly activity report of the General Secretariat’s departments, the economic landscape report, and its important points, and it was followed by reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
