General Secretariat of STC’s Presidency Holds its Periodic Meeting and Praises Successful Celebrations of Southern National Independence Day

The General Secretariat of the Southern Transitional Council (STC) held its periodic meeting on Wednesday in the capital, Aden, chaired by Mr. Fadhl Mohammed Al-Jaadi, member of the STC’s Presidium and deputy secretary general.
The meeting praised the grand success of the major celebration that was organized in Abyan governorate and the rest of the celebrations that were performed in all the governorates of the South on the occasion of the National Independence Day.
The meeting also lauded the efforts of the preparatory committee for the first stage of honoring women trailblazers of the South on the National Days of October and November, organized by the Departments of Media, and Women and Children, and their great role in making this ceremony such a success.
The meeting discussed a report submitted by the Political Department on the political landscape, which dealt with the most prominent topics and issues during the past two weeks.
The meeting reviewed another report submitted by the Public Department on the activities that were implemented and the related organizational tasks during the third quarter of the year 2022.
The meeting revised the job discipline report related to the staff of the General Secretariat for the month of November 2022, submitted by the Administrative and Financial Department.
The meeting touched on several issues related to the lives of citizens in the governorates of the South, as suggestions that can lead to boosting and upgrading the workflow were presented.
The meeting shed light on the weekly activity report of departments of the general secretariat, in addition to reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
