General Secretariat of STC’s Presidency organizes public Ramadan Iftar on occasion of 8th anniversary of liberating Aden the capital

The Youth and Students Department in the General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council (STC), on Tuesday, organized a public Ramadan Iftar at Martyr Madram Street in Mualla district of Aden the capital, on the occasion of the eighth anniversary of the liberation of the capital, Aden, with participation of Mr. Lutfi Shatara, member of the Presidency of STC, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly.
The Ramadan Iftar was held in honor of the first batch of liberated prisoners, and in the presence of Mr. Moamen Al-Saqqaf, Advisor to the President of STC, Head of the Youth and Students Department in the Secretariat of STC’s Presidency, and Mr. Essam Abdo, acting head of the executive body of STC in Aden the capital, and Mr. Abdul-Raheem Al-Gawi, director of the district of Mala’a, besides members of the executive bodies and local leaderships of STC in the capital, Aden and its districts, in addition to a number of social figures and representatives of civil society organizations, and sons of Aden.
In the Iftar, the participants praised the role of the heroes of the southern resistance who are defending the land and people of the South, expressing their aspirations to achieve the goal of the people of the South in restoring their state with full its sovereignty.
After that, fireworks were launched in the sky of Aden the capital in celebration of this occasion, and in honor of the heroes of the southern resistance role in liberating Aden the capital on the twenty-seventh of Ramadan of the year 2015.
