General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Transitional Council held its weekly meeting chaired by Al-Soqatri

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held, on Monday, its weekly meeting at its headquarters in the capital, Aden, under the chairmanship of Major General Salem Abdullah Al-Soqatri, the Assistant Secretary-General.

In the meeting, the Assistant Secretary-General stressed on the importance of solidarity during this difficult period the world is going through due to the Corona virus pandemic, praising the hygiene campaigns carried out by the Council in cooperation with the Cleaning Fund and included all districts of the capital Aden.

Major General Al-Soqatri called on citizens to cooperate with the military and security authorities to implement the directives of President Aidroos Al-Zubaidi, the President of the Transitional Council, to curfew in the capital Aden and the rest of the southern governorates.

The meeting discussed the decisions issued by the Presidency of the Transitional Council meeting on Sunday, which included the closure of land, air and sea ports, except for cases of relief and medical needs, and the suspension of work in state facilities and institutions except for service facilities, as well as the closure of qat markets and any other gatherings.

In the internal affairs, the meeting listened to the weekly reports of the activities of the General Secretariat departments and the executive bodies of the local leaderships of the Council in the governorates.
