General Secretariat of Transitional Council holds its periodic meeting chaired by Al-Jaadi

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council held today, Monday, its periodic meeting chaired by Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General.
The meeting listened to the report submitted by the political department, which reviewed the most prominent political issues in the southern arena, and the international political movements, and news received regarding the change of the UN Secretary-General’s envoy to Yemen, in addition to the personalities nominated to replace him.
The political report also dealt with the negotiating political moves in the region that some countries are undertaking to end the war in Yemen and get the people out of the humanitarian crisis that they have been going through for more than six years, in addition to a number of other related political issues.
The meeting focused on the economic, security and service developments in Aden the capital, and other southern governorates, as well as issues related to the activities of the General Secretariat departments and executive bodies in the governorates, in which proposals were presented in order to support the progress and development of the work.
The meeting also reviewed the report submitted by the martyrs and wounded, youth and students, and research and studies department, which included the most prominent activities carried out by those departments during the period of April-May 2021.
The meeting had also reviewed and approved the weekly achievement report of the General Secretariat departments, as well as its previous minutes.
