General Secretariat Reviews Economic and Political Developments in the Southern Arena

In the meeting, the general secretariat praised the mass rallies in all governorates of the South that commemorated the 28th anniversary of disengagement day, which expresses the firm will of people of the South and their adherence to self-determination right and restoring the free, independent State with its full sovereignty.

During its meeting, the general secretariat offered congratulations and blessings to people of Al-Dhalea governorate, in particular, and the South, in general, on the seventh anniversary of the first victories in liberating the first areas of the South from Houthi militias and A’ffash forces in 2015.

The meeting reviewed reports of the economic and political scenes submitted by the economic and political departments on the latest developments on the southern national scene.

In the meeting, the secretariat also discussed performance reports of the Financial and Administrative Department, and the Human Rights Department, during the first quarter of 2022, and the most prominent activities implemented by both departments and the related organizational tasks, during the mentioned period, as the reports were approved, taking into account the concerned remarks raised.

The meeting also stood before a number of security, service, and social issues and events that took place in the South during the past period, where actionable proposals and suggestions were presented that would contribute to alleviate the suffering on shoulders of citizens.

The meeting discussed weekly-activity report of departments of the general secretariat, in addition to reviewing and approving the minutes of the previous meeting.
