General Secretariat reviews ongoing preparations to commemorate 54th anniversary of Independence Day

The General Secretariat of the Presidency of the Southern Transitional Council, on Wednesday, held its periodic meeting headed by Mr. Fadl Mohammad Al-Jaadi, Deputy Secretary-General.
The meeting focused on the ongoing preparations to commemorate the 54th anniversary of the glorious National Independence Day, November 30, which will be held next week in the capital, Aden.
The meeting reviewed the economic scene report submitted by the Economic Department, which included the most prominent developments in the economic situation of the governorates of the South, providing a comprehensive reading of the terrible economic situation that the country is going through.
The report touched on the importance of restructuring the Central Bank and restoring oil export revenues, as well as the appeals of the people of Hawasheb in the governorate to stop the coal plant in the National Cement Factory, given the environmental damage caused by the emissions from it, stressing the importance of closing similar plant in all factories that cause harm to citizens. .
The meeting discussed the report on work performance of Martyrs and Wounded Department for the third quarter of the year 2021, reviewing the most important activities carried out and the most important achievements during the mentioned period.
The meeting also reviewed the weekly achievement report of the departments of the General Secretariat, as well as its previous minutes, and approved it.
