Giants Brigades take control of Ayyad area from remnants of Brotherhood forces

The Southern Giants Brigades (AL-AMALIKA) continued to spread in the vital areas of Shabwa Governorate to secure it from the cells of the Brotherhood rebels’ forces, a week after they thwarted their attempt to overthrow by force of arms.
The southern armed forces took control of Ayyad area and advanced towards the desert, amid mass escapes of the remnants of the Brotherhood militia.
It succeeded in breaking an attack by the Brotherhood militia, while continuing its advance to Flick station, to prevent the fleeing elements from returning to target residential areas.
